OUR FOUNDER is STAN GILCHRIST
Stan Gilchrist
“The Godfather” whose very lifetime passion has been serving others – from teaching to establishing/improving organisations to coaching sport. Only family comes before any of the other socially-responsible pursuits in which Stan has been involved.
OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors is a group of highly experienced administrators, each with his/her own contribution to our Company. They have the skill and determination to ensure total compliance with every Government requirement and to oversee the governance of our Company.

DAVID JACKSON – CHAIRMAN
GLENN GILCHRIST
Former school teacher, Fitness professional, Sales manager in medical device industry, Company director. Glenn brings both national and international experience and connections to our team.
WENDY KNIGHT
Wendy is a proud Barkindgi woman from Gamilaroi Country with an unwavering commitment to ensuring the promotion of Indigenous voices on issues affecting our children and families. A results driven and accomplished Senior Executive with extensive experience in child protection, out of home care and contract management. Wendy has proven success in high level strategic and operational management and organisational change.
GARY ABLETT
Of Canadian heritage, Gary is an experienced research scientist with a passion for engagement and nurturing our students, our donors and, indeed, our team.
STAN GILCHRIST
Stan has had a lifetime of giving service to his fellow citizens – from involvement in education (teaching and administration), church commitment (preaching, teaching and Governance), service through Rotary International, working through the Lord’s Taverners at branch (established Northern NSW Branch) and National Level.
Whilst his family comes first, Stan’s whole community service attention is now focused on the mission of Gilchrist Foundation.
Our Board of Management
Our Board of Management is a focused, enthusiastic, passionate group of people whose continued support, contribution and advice gives us confidence that Gilchrist Foundation will continue to change the lives of disadvantaged Australians. Scientists, company owners and managers, teachers, indigenous leaders, IT specialists – these are the backgrounds of our team. And overriding all of these is the intention to identify, nurture and change lives among our less fortunate young people.

Kathy Gilchrist
Teacher, financial controller, company owner and director and passionate sportswoman. Kathy brings to our group experience working in an international company and in schools. (Pictured with husband Dean.)
Karey Patterson
Karey Patterson: Very experienced company director, IT manager and director, specialist in educational copyright, international businessman. One of the original people who suggested the development of Gilchrist Foundation.
Lenny Stewart
One of our younger brigade, bringing internet expertise, web design skills and guidance on our social media platforms. Lenny is largely responsible for this website.
